Overview

This course is for aspiring music producers, both beginners and industry practitioners who want to learn or enhance their knowledge and skills in using sound editing software to record and create beats, tacks and jingles.

Course content

The DAW trainee will learn the following:

• ProTools software
• FL Studio software
• Logic PRO software

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, graduates will be able to

• Set ProTools up for a recording session
• Edit recorded material using Pro Tools’ functionalities
• Recall and use advanced Pro Tools ‘tips and tricks’
• Set Logic Pro up for a recording session
• Edit recorded material using Logic Pro’s Flex Time
• Edit (tune) vocals using Logic Pro
• Recall and use advanced Logic Pro ‘tips and tricks’
• Set FL Studio up for a recording session
• Edit recorded material using FL Studio functionalities
• Edit (tune) vocals using FL Studio
